Welcome & Goodbye

Greet new members with stylish welcome messages and bid farewell with goodbye messages. Customize everything from text to embeds, and auto-assign roles on join.

How It Works

1. A new member joins or leaves the server
2. Hubdustry sends a configured message to the designated channel
3. Optionally, new members receive auto-roles on join

Commands

Command	Description
/welcome test	Preview the current welcome message
/goodbye test	Preview the current goodbye message
/welcome channel #channel	Set the welcome channel
/goodbye channel #channel	Set the goodbye channel

Configuration

Welcome Message

Configure from Dashboard → Welcome:

• Channel: Where welcome messages are sent
• Message type: Text, embed, or both
• Content: Customizable with variables (see below)
• Auto-role: Roles assigned to new members automatically
• DM welcome: Optionally send a DM to the new member

Goodbye Message

Configure from Dashboard → Goodbye:

• Channel: Where goodbye messages are sent
• Message type: Text, embed, or both
• Content: Customizable with variables

Variables

Use dynamic variables in your messages:

Variable	Replaced With
{user}	User mention (@username)
{user.name}	Display name
{user.tag}	Username#0000
{user.avatar}	Avatar URL
{server}	Server name
{server.members}	Member count
{user.joined}	Join position (e.g., "42nd member")

Welcome Card

Enable a visual welcome card with:

• Background image: Custom or default
• Avatar: Member's profile picture
• Text: Welcome message overlaid
• Color scheme: Match your server's branding

Auto-Roles

Automatically assign roles when members join:

1. Go to Dashboard → Welcome → Auto-Roles
2. Add one or more roles
3. New members receive these roles immediately on join
