How to Play Music

Listen to music with your friends in a voice channel. Here's everything you need to know.

Getting Started

1. Join a voice channel in your Discord server
2. Type /play followed by a song name or URL
3. Hubdustry joins your channel and starts playing

Examples:

• /play never gonna give you up
• /play https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ
• /play spotify:track:4cOdK2wGLETKBW3PvgPWqT

Basic Controls

What You Want	Command
Pause the music	/pause
Resume playing	/resume
Skip this song	/skip
Stop everything	/stop
Change volume	/volume 50
See what's playing	/nowplaying

Managing the Queue

When you play multiple songs, they line up in a queue:

• /queue — See all upcoming songs
• /shuffle — Randomize the queue order
• /loop track — Repeat the current song
• /loop queue — Repeat the entire queue
• /loop off — Stop looping
• /remove 3 — Remove song #3 from the queue

Playing Playlists

You can play entire playlists from YouTube or Spotify:

• /play https://youtube.com/playlist?list=...
• /play my spotify playlist name

All tracks are added to the queue automatically.

Audio Effects

Want to spice things up? Try audio filters:

• /filter bass-boost — Extra bass
• /filter nightcore — Faster + higher pitch
• /filter 8d — Rotating audio effect
• /filter off — Back to normal

Troubleshooting

Bot won't join my channel?

• Make sure you're in a voice channel first
• Check that Hubdustry has Connect and Speak permissions

No sound?

• Check your Discord volume settings
• Try /volume 50 to reset the bot volume

Song won't play?

• Some sources may be region-restricted
• Try searching by name instead of URL
